A visit to the ER one Sunday right before Sacrament started for a CAT Scan on Lili's head after another knock out fall off of the counter (while I was doing her hair) and a cast for Meili a week later... trauma in the Hunsaker home :)

Happy 60th Birthday, Dad!!!

Well...there was nothing my dad could do even though he would have liked to...he is now 60 :)
My family and I planned a really fun surprise party for him in Provo. We did not all get together all summer long so thought this was a perfect excuse for a quick family reunion...we were all together a total of 24 hours...it was fast, it was furious, and it was a ton of fun. We all stayed at the Residence Inn. Nate and Heidi flew in from Ohio with cute little Coulson. Greg and Leslie made the long drive from Provo/Lehi and we came from here. Heidi and Leslie decorated a room up really cute. Nate and Greg picked up food from dad's favorite, Olive Garden and mom and dad were set to arrive. Well...it would have been a surprise if we all had been in the room but they showed up before we were all ready... Scott and I brushed by them in the hall and Greg and Nate were still getting food. They opened the door to a bunch of surprised faces....they got us even though they did not know we were there.
Anyway, we ate some yummy food and swam. The next morning we all ate, swam and then picniced on left overs before heading to BYU's very cool museum (free too). It was similar to Cabellas but lots more animals and only animals. The kids all enjoyed doing a scavanger hunt. After, we went and had ice cream on ByU's campus saying a very sad good-bye to Greg's boys (notice the picture of the 4 boys sad...this happens everytime they are together). Then we ate some yummy food at 5 guys before heading home for the longest car ride of our lives...I think we heard, "I've got to go potty" 5,000 times from Lili. It was a long, first ride being potty trained. Hopefully, her bladder will get larger.
Anyway, we had a great time and decided to make it a tradition.

FHE at our lot

Last Monday we had a bon fire at our lot. They have done some plumbing for the basement and we needed to clean up some weeds (plus we had some limbs) to burn. We had a great time roasting hot dogs wrapped in cresant rolls, and marshmallows for smores. Lili came up with a new way to roast the marshmallow as well as the graham cracker.
