Razors

Brian Ward invited the boys and Scott to go "razoring" (not sure if that is the correct term) They had a great time and told me that I missed out.
The girls and I instead went with Lora, Mady and Ryan to the county fair and Bass Lake. We had a good time together (I guess the boys got to do bass lake too) We had the lake to ourselves since everyone else was in school. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable day - probably the last time to bass lake this season

Trip to ML and Portland

We made such a quick trip to ML for Scott's reunion that we wanted to go back and actually visit...so, back on the road we went. The kids started school late this year so we had a few extra weeks to play. We went to the Grant County Rodeo and Fair (I did not realize how disgusting the food was until I saw the pictures. sick. I cracked up when I saw how long the hot dog that the boys had to have was- great example of eyes being bigger than stomach), swimming at the Earls, boating, church, OMSI, swimming at Kim's friends pool, late night dinner with Kim and Julio and some shopping. It was a fun week. The kids love playing at grandma and grandpa's house. There is so much room to run and play. I think they spent a majority of their time pulling each other around in the pioneer wagons that they have and exploring the sheds. Kristin and her kids came to visit as well which made for some fun cousin time. Thanks all.

Tank

Davis got Tank for his birthday from Grandma and Grandpa Hunsaker. He was a great fish until one day when Marlene, a nice lady who helps me clean, mentioned to Davis that he should clean Tanks water. Usually, it takes a time or two for Davis to follow directions but not this time... he was Johnny on the Spot. I did not even know this was going on... anyway, he did not realize that beta fishes need room temperature water and gave him some pretty chilly water. Also, I'm not sure why I found this all amusing... it is wrong I realize. Tank has since found a replacement after a couple of other fishes. Tank is now a red fish, swimming happily in the fish bowl.

Our baby is a teenager

Happy birthday Nathan and Mckenzie!!!
Wow...13 years ago Mckenzie was born. It is hard to believe. She has grown up to be such a nice, and sweet daughter. She helps me out so much.
It was a year for no party but I gave in and let her invite just three friends to celebrate being a teenager. They had a good time "hanging out"

Ahhh...

Scott and I went on our first cruise. We went with our good friends, Doug and Mendie. Doug and Scott planned it all which made it even better. Doug bought the cute hats for he and Scott. We flew to Miami, ate some gross, heavy Cuban food, boarded the ship in the morning, hung out in the sun and tried out a little of everything from each of the restaurants, and begun our cruise to the Bahamas. Day one we went to Freeport. We grabbed a cab and went to the beach and snorkeled in the most beautiful water. The beach was nearly empty...it was Heaven. After time at the beach we did a little shopping and then back to the boat. We hung out and ate and went to a show. The next day (our 16th anniversary) we went to Naasau. We did an excursion this day where they took us out on a boat to where "Shark Week" is filmed and we road little underwater motorcyles...it was so fun and amazing...we also did some great snorkeling! Day 4 of the cruise we went to NCL's private island...well, it is private until the 2000+ cruisers get off... but, it was still a nice day...we snorkeled again, hung out in the sun to visit and ate the yummy bbq (oh, and Mendie and I had seagulls take our hotdogs right off our plate) We then went back to the ship and headed back to Miami. that morning we got off the ship, rented a car and went to Miami beach (lots of skin). We ate at Gloria Estafan's restaurant (yummy...much better Cuban food than the first restaurant) and then went to a Miami baseball game vs. Colorado Rockies. (Doug and Mendie cracked us up because they are such posers for photos). The next morning we all flew home. It was a great week. One we hope to do again. The water was so green and clear and the fish were beautiful.

20th class reunion

WOW... we are old...or I should say Scott is old. We left on Friday morning to ML (Amy went with us... she had not been in a car for 9 hours before). Friday evening we took the kids bowling with all of Scott's old friends, Sat. he went golfing with them (while Loye, Patrice and I took the kids to the water park), Saturday evening we went to the social after the dinner (and dinner to Chico's with Roman and Patrice)and Sunday we went to Sacrament and then drove home to rejoin the Chinese group. It was fast and furious but I think Scott enjoyed meeting up with some of his old friends.

Hunsaker family reunion

Scott's family met at a cabin just outside of Preston for the weekend. We had such a fun time together. Breck and Dixie and the kids brought a few of their horses (one of which has been promised to my kids once we get the pasture finished...Breck always offers a dog but this time it went to a horse) Anyway, we went on a nice family history tour of the Bear Lake area, on a fun hike to Bloomington Lake, ate lots of good food, toasted lots of marshmellows (even though they stick to shoes), rode in all sorts of old model cars (courtesy of a neighbor by the cabin), taught Amy how to play baseball, and tossed balls around.
